Role Overview
The Compliance Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the companys compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies, programs, and internal controls aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including environmental, safety, operational, and corporate regulations.
- Oversee regulatory filings, renewals of permits and licenses, and submissions to government agencies.
- Conduct compliance audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Monitor adherence to laws and regulations relevant to the energy and industrial sectors.
- Provide regular compliance training to employees and project teams.
- Coordinate with legal, operations, HR, and finance to resolve compliance concerns.
- Maintain and update compliance tracking tools and documentation.
- Recommend corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of compliance experience, ideally gained from power, energy, renewable, utilities, or industrial companies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to operations, environmental compliance, and corporate governance.
- Experience in internal audit, risk management, and regulatory reporting is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills.
- High integrity and strong commitment to ethics and compliance.
