About The Role -
The Compliance Associate will work closely with our Compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to develop expertise in private equity compliance.
Key Responsibilities -
- Support the Compliance Team on periodic compliance testing across various areas,
including marketing materials substantiation and electronic communications review
- Maintain and update the department's compliance calendar
- Perform AML compliance reviews using the Dow Jones Risk Center system
- Assist in maintaining the ComplySci personal conflicts monitoring system, including:
Coordinating with brokers to connect and disconnect trading accounts to automatic feeds
Implementing system updates as needed
- Work with stakeholders across the Firm assisting with vendor inventory management
and related documentation
- Support ad hoc compliance projects as needed
Requirements
Job Requirements and Credentials -
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Prior experience supporting a US-based compliance team of an SEC registered firm is
a plus but not required
- 1-3 years of experience is required
