Job Description

The Compensation and Benefits Assistant ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and administration of governmentmandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG) in coordination with an outsourced payroll provider. The role focuses on validating data, preparing payroll inputs, maintaining records, and supporting employees with payroll- and benefitsrelated concerns.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 34 years in payroll, GMB administration, or HR support.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS), Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Familiar with timekeeping and payroll processes
  • Knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG rules and portals
  • Strong accuracy and data validation skills

Responsibilities

1. Payroll Coordination

  • Collect, review, and validate timekeeping, attendance, leaves, OT, adjustments, incentives, and deductions.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs before submitting to the outsourced payroll provider.
  • Validate final payroll results, statutory deductions, and loan repayments.
  • Maintain payroll records and support accounting in reconciliations.

2. GovernmentMandated Benefits

  • Monitor and validate SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG contributions and updates.
  • Assist with loan applications, posting, and tracking.
  • Support new hire registrations and employee status updates.
  • Maintain and organize statutory reports and remittance proofs.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain organized payroll and GMB files in compliance with audit and data privacy requirements.
  • Assist in internal/external audits and prepare basic payroll and benefits reports.

4. Employee Support

  • Handle inquiries on salary, deductions, loans, and contributions.
  • Communicate payroll cutoffs, updates, and guidelines.

5. Internal Coordination

  • Work with HR on new hires, exits, salary changes, leaves, and policy alignment.
