Compensation and Benefits Manager (Onsite | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City | Onsite (IT Park) | Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM PH Time)

You lead the strategy, structure, and execution of GoTeam's compensation and benefits programs. You are not just managing benefits—you ensure that every compensation decision and benefits structure is competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's long-term growth.

This is an internal role that directly impacts employee experience, retention, and organizational sustainability. Best suited for professionals who are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You're likely a strong fit if you have

  • Minimum of 5 years experience handling compensation and benefits in a BPO setup
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine government-mandated benefits, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and benefits administration
  • Deep understanding of the Labor Code of the Philippines related to compensation and benefits
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple employee-related processes with accuracy
  • Comfortable working onsite in Cebu City and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to use AI-enabled tools to streamline HR processes and reporting
  • Proactive and solutions-driven mindset in addressing employee concerns and operational challenges

Strong Signals

  • Experience in designing or improving compensation structures, salary bands, or benefits programs
  • Exposure to compensation benchmarking and market analysis within a BPO or outsourcing environment
  • Hands-on experience managing HMO renewals, vendor negotiations, or benefits optimization
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, statutory benefits, and compliance requirements
  • Experience handling audits, government reporting, or ensuring accuracy of remittances
  • Tech-forward mindset, with the ability to leverage HR systems or AI tools to improve processes and reporting
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee concerns with professionalism and discretion

Responsibility Pillars

Compensation Strategy & Analysis

  • You ensure compensation structures remain competitive, fair, and aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze compensation data and market trends to support decision-making and benchmarking
  • Maintain and monitor salary structures, adjustments, and employee movement (promotion, merit increase, etc.)
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate implementation of compensation changes
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on compensation strategies

Benefits Administration & Compliance

  • You own the integrity and execution of all benefits programs across the organization.
  • Manage end-to-end benefits administration, including government-mandated and company-initiated benefits
  • Oversee HMO renewals and vendor coordination to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery
  • Monitor timely posting of government contributions and loan remittances
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies

Employee Support & Issue Resolution

  • You act as a trusted advisor for all compensation and benefits-related concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits, compensation, and related inquiries
  • Handle and resolve compensation and benefits tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist employees with loan continuations, certifications, and documentation requests
  • Escalate complex cases to management when necessary

Documentation & Process Management

  • You ensure all compensation and benefits processes are structured, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee movements and compensation changes
  • Process salary adjustments and coordinate necessary documentation
  • Facilitate final pay computation and preparation of exit documents (BIR 2316, quitclaim, etc.)
  • Ensure all records are updated, organized, and compliant with audit requirements

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • You drive efficiency and modernization within the Compensation and Benefits function.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, policies, and best practices
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Leverage research and AI technologies to streamline workflows and improve service delivery
  • Provide feedback to management on opportunities for process and policy enhancements
