Job Summary
The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to employees, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, and supporting overall workplace well-being. This role also includes administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Health and Medical Services
- Provide first aid, basic medical assessment, and emergency response to employees.
- Conduct regular health monitoring, wellness checks, and medical consultations within the scope of practice.
- Maintain updated employee medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist in company medical programs such as annual physical exams, flu vaccination, and wellness initiatives.
- Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
- Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH standards.
- Serve as Safety Officer based on certification level.
- Assist in implementing safety policies, emergency procedures, and workplace hazard identification.
- Conduct safety orientations for new hires and toolbox meetings when needed.
- Support documentation for OSH compliance (accident logs, first aid kit inventory, safety logs, incident reports).
- Coordinate with external safety training providers and government agencies when required.
- Office Administration
- Assist with general office operations such as monitoring office supplies, coordinating with vendors, and supporting facilities requests.
- Help organize company activities, meetings, and events (health programs, training sessions, safety drills, etc.).
- Support HR with onboarding, new hire orientations, and employee engagement activities.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the clinic and office common areas.
- Assist in administrative reports, filing, and task management for management and HR.
- All other ad hoc tasks necessary to support business needs
- Compliance and Reporting
- Prepare monthly health and safety reports for management.
- Handle documentation for workplace incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
- Maintain OSH compliance records for DOLE requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory of medicines, first aid kits, and medical supplies.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
- With at least 2 years of experience as a company nurse in occupational health.
- Knowledge of working with local government units in Clark (e.g., permit processing, logistics requirements, etc.).
- Experience in office administration or facilities management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of DOLE occupational health and safety standards.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office or similar tools.
