The Opportunity

This is not a routine content role. As Communications Specialist at The Medical City, you will be at the forefront of shaping how the organization communicates internally and externallycrafting messages that inspire trust, build engagement, and strengthen the brand.

You will work closely with the Head of Communications and senior leadership to execute communication strategies that align with organizational goals. From content creation to media relations and digital engagement, you'll help ensure that every message reflects TMC's values and vision.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Create compelling content: Write and edit materials for websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Execute communication plans: Implement internal and external communication strategies to support organizational initiatives.
  • Manage brand consistency: Ensure all content aligns with TMC's brand guidelines and communication objectives.
  • Drive media engagement: Build relationships with media outlets, draft press releases, and monitor coverage.
  • Support digital campaigns: Collaborate with the digital team to enhance online engagement and reputation.
  • Analyze performance: Use analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
  • Foster internal engagement: Develop newsletters, announcements, and organize internal events to promote a positive workplace culture.

Who You Are

  • A graduate of Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Advertising, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Has 36 years of experience in communications, digital marketing, or media, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • Skilled in content creation, digital marketing, and public relations.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with analytics tools and comfortable using data to optimize strategies.
