JOB SUMMARY:
The Communications Specialist is primarily responsible for developing an effective and integrated consumer communications plan of assigned brands that connects brand positioning, communications & media strategy, and creative execution, in collaboration with brand marketing.
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT
- Partners with brand team and external agencies to develop an effective & integrated communications plan that connects brand positioning, brand messaging and creative execution ensuring consistency across channels/materials. Ensures all communications adhere to advertising and consumer governing bodies
- Partners with brand team to develop & implement the appropriate influencer and/or media strategy/plan for brands to achieve business objectives while maximizing budget
- Ensures evaluation systems are in place to measure performance vs. objectives and goals; regularly reports campaign performance to brand team
- Manages social media, influencer and creative agencies (in collaboration with brand team) and leads negotiations with agencies
- Manages within media budget
PR MANAGEMENT
- Plans campaigns and executions that will improve the image or perception of the brand/organization, aligned with brand/company objectives, in collaboration with Communications Manager
- Recommends appropriate channel strategy to reach target audience and determine the best way to communicate with them publicly
- Directs external agencies that develop communications and information programs
- Oversees and directs press material production (eg. speeches, press releases, videos, etc)
- Evaluates campaigns vs. set objectives, ensuring objectives are met; prepares campaign post report and learning recommendations
- Manages within PR budget
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising of related PR activities
- Prepares competitive monitoring report
- Regularly shares best practices in PR/media campaigns that can be used in future campaigns
OTHERS
- Works with E-Commerce team for campaigns and marketing activities for Fly Ace's e-commerce platforms
- Assists in managing and maintaining corporate website
- Leads and facilities internal ASC applications and Communications-related billings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Degree
- At least 1-2 years of experience, handling marketing communications campaigns
- Experience working with Brand team on Brand Strategy and Execution, Integrated Marketing Communications
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to draw accurate, useful conclusions from quantitative information
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- High sense of urgency (agile and can work well in a fast-paced environment)
- Willing to grow and take up more responsibilities as needed by the business
