Job Description

Responsibilities

The Communications Officer is primarily responsible for assisting the Communications Manager in conceptualizing, implementing, and monitoring internal communication strategies and policies, including printed or online publications and employee engagement initiatives. It is also tasked with helping to build, maintain, and protect the corporate image within the organization

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, compelling, and professional content (press releases, articles, speeches, AVP scripts, etc.).
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and email marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with internal communications (e.g., newsletters, intranet content).
  • Expert ability in developing comprehensive and measurable annual communication strategies and internal campaigns.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and developing digital content (Google/ Meta Analytics, is a plus).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in visualizing and documenting strategic plans, timelines, and activity calendars using presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva) for executive review and department-wide alignment.
  • Proven capability to independently manage and execute planned communication activities from conception through launch, ensuring timely and effective delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal business units and manage internal stakeholder relations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate communications, event planning, or publication development (preferred)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for internal publications
  • Proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies and organizing events.
  • Amenable to work in Makati City
