Job Summary:

TheCommunication Officer supports DigiPlus Foundation's efforts to ensure all communications are engaging, consistent, and aligned with the brands messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce graphics, arts cards, infographics, and visual content for social media and the website.
  • Create and edit reels, highlight videos, and short-form content for various platforms.
  • Assist in planning, shooting, and editing photo and video materials.
  • Write compelling captions, posts, and articles to accompany visual content.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content across social media platforms.
  • Respond to social media comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Draft and distribute press releases to promote the Foundation's initiatives
  • Coordinate with PR agencies for media placements and dissemination of press materials.
  • Post press releases and updates on the Foundation's website.
  • Manage and respond to emails and other external correspondence.
  • Support the development of intergrated information and education campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing award submissions to highlight the Foundation's achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations, Multimedia Arts or related field.
  • With 2-3 years of experience in content creation, graphic design, video editing, social media management or public relations.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effect) or equivalent tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for press releases, social media content, and articles.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of creative work in design and video production.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred: Experience in the non-profit sector; familiarity with social media analytics tools and CMS platforms
