Job Description

The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated communication, public relations, marketing, and promotional strategies that enhance the brand presence, market positioning, and revenue generation of Seda BGC Hotel. The role oversees digital and traditional marketing initiatives, media relations, hotel events, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities for guestrooms and food and beverage outlets including Misto, Straight Up Bar, and Sikreto.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Relations & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement annual PR and communications plans aligned with hotel business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, influencers, bloggers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, articles, and corporate communications materials.
  • Manage the hotel's brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

  • Manage and oversee the hotel's social media platforms, website content, and online marketing campaigns.
  • Develop engaging content for digital channels to drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and bookings.
  • Monitor online reviews and reputation management platforms and coordinate responses when necessary.
  • Analyze digital marketing performance and recommend strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.

Advertising & Promotions

  • Conceptualize, create, and monitor print and digital advertisements for:
  • Guest room promotions
  • Misto Restaurant
  • Straight Up Bar
  • Sikreto
  • Seasonal and special promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, agencies, and suppliers for creative materials and marketing collateral
  • Ensure all promotional materials comply with brand standards and hotel guidelines.

Events Management

  • Plan, organize, and execute hotel events including
  • General Manager's Cocktail Reception
  • Hotel Anniversary Celebrations
  • Seasonal Events and Festivities
  • iMedia and Influencer Events
  • Corporate and Community Engagement Activities
  • Coordinate event logistics, budgets, guest invitations, sponsorships, and post-event evaluations
  • Work closely with Operations, Sales, and F&B teams to ensure successful event execution

Marketing Communications

  • Create marketing calendars and campaign schedules to support hotel revenue objectives.
  • Develop promotional concepts and partnerships that drive room occupancy and F&B sales.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather content and support promotional activities
  • Track campaign effectiveness and provide monthly marketing performance reports.

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage the communications and marketing budget effectively
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, agencies, printers, and event suppliers
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality execution of all marketing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in hotel marketing, communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and brand communications.
  • Experience in organizing corporate and hospitality events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
