Job Summary
The Communications Associate is a key member of iQor's Global Strategic Communications team, providing day-to-day support across a broad range of communications initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this role helps coordinate projects, maintain communications operations, and execute initiatives that support internal communications, executive communications, social media, events, branding, and corporate communications.
This position is ideal for a communications generalist who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings exceptional organization and attention to detail. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive approach to keeping initiatives moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of communications initiatives across the Global Communications team, including internal communications, executive communications, social media, corporate communications, events, and brand initiatives.
- Draft, edit, proofread, format, and distribute a variety of communications materials, ensuring consistency with iQor's brand standards and editorial guidelines.
- Coordinate communications projects from intake through completion by managing timelines, approvals, deliverables, and stakeholder follow-up to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Support planning and execution of internal virtual events, including town halls, leadership meetings, employee speaker series, and other engagement initiatives.
- Develop creative briefs and coordinate with Creative and Events teams to produce branded communications materials, including presentations, signage, event websites, promotional assets, and collateral.
- Maintain communications calendars, project documentation, templates, digital assets, and file organization to support efficient team operations.
- Coordinate team meetings, agendas, action items, and other administrative activities that help keep projects and priorities moving forward.
- Identify opportunities to improve communications workflows, organization, and project management processes across the team.
- Provide flexible support across the Global Communications team as business priorities evolve.
Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience supporting multiple communications projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience supporting virtual events or internal communications preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
- Strong project coordination and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working with a variety of communications formats and projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, and project management tools preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Interview Process
Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a practical exercise demonstrating written communication, organization, project coordination, proofreading, and prioritization skills.
Work Set-up:
Remote and Graveyard shift schedule (Eastern Time Zone)
