About the Role

We are looking for a Communications & Content Associate to run the day-to-day of our communications, content, and marketing work. This is a hands-on generalist role spanning social media, writing, design, PR support, and research. You will report to the Head of Communications / Marketing and execute against strategy they set, with real ownership of the output.

It suits someone early-to-mid career who writes well, moves quickly, and wants to build a public-facing brand in a regulated category from the ground up.

What you will do

Social media & community

• Plan, draft, schedule, and publish across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and other platforms as we adopt them
• Own and maintain the content calendar against company priorities and campaigns
• Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and DMs within brand and compliance guidelines
• Track engagement and report on performance monthly

Content & design

• Write original social copy, captions, short-form content, and newsletters
• Produce graphics, banners, infographics, event collateral, and simple presentation materials
• Keep everything on-brand and visually consistent
• Brief and coordinate external designers, photographers, and vendors on larger productions

PR & communications support

• Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, statements, talking points, and internal announcements
• Maintain media lists, coordinate inbound inquiries, and help prepare spokespeople for interviews and events
• Build communications materials for launches, partnerships, and regulatory milestones
• Maintain the communications archive and keep messaging consistent across channels

Blog & website

• Write, edit, and publish 2–4 blog articles per month
• Keep website copy accurate and current; update or retire anything stale
• Apply basic SEO practices and make sure formatting, links, images, and metadata are clean

Research

• Run industry, competitor, regulatory, and audience research to inform content and messaging
• Monitor Philippine crypto and fintech news, market developments, and regulatory changes
• Prepare short, clear research briefs for the team
• Fact-check and verify sources before anything goes out

What you will bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience; a background in technology, Web3/crypto, or media and publishing is a strong advantage
• Strong writing and editing in English (Filipino proficiency a plus)
• Hands-on experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization
• Working proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for basic graphics
• Familiarity with a CMS or blogging platform (e.g., WordPress) and social scheduling tools
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable running multiple priorities at once

Nice to have

• Interest in or exposure to fintech, crypto/blockchain, or regulated financial services
• A feel for how communications work under regulatory constraint
• Basic SEO and analytics knowledge

• Reports to: Head of Communications / Marketing
• Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours, with occasional flexibility around launches, events, and time-sensitive communications
• Setup: Onsite, BGC
