Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Commissary Admin Manager to oversee the administrative, financial, and operational functions of our commissary kitchen. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, accurate inventory management, and cost-effective food production and distribution to our outlets.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operations
Supervise and lead the commissary administrative team
Manage schedules, documentation, and record-keeping
Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day commissary operations
Financial Management
Conduct regular inventory checks and reconciliations
Monitor budgets and assist in cost control
Handle petty cash and administrative expenses
Coordinate with the accounting team for financial and P&L reports
Inventory & Logistics
Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods
Oversee ordering and stock replenishment
Implement proper storage and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices to minimize waste
Production & Quality Control
Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff on production planning
Maintain recipe costing and production records
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Equipment Maintenance
Monitor the proper use and maintenance of commissary equipment such as chillers, freezers, and kitchen tools
Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance when necessary
Qualifications
Proven experience in commissary, food production, restaurant, or kitchen operations management
Strong administrative, inventory, and financial monitoring skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Proficient in inventory and reporting systems is an advantage
