About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Insurance VA/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our growing commercial insurance operations. This role is focused on delivering outstanding service to business clients, with a primary emphasis on Certificates of Insurance (COIs), policy support, and day-to-day client requests.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with commercial insurance policies and terminology, is highly detail-oriented, and enjoys working directly with clients to ensure their coverage needs are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, issue, and manage Certificates of Insurance for commercial clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with policy endorsements, changes, and updates across various commercial lines
- Respond to client inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
- Review policy documents and endorsement forms to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions and policy changes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy servicing and client satisfaction
- Utilize Salesforce Lightning (or similar CRM systems) to track tasks, requests, and communications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial insurance customer service (agency or brokerage experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and insurance terminology
- Experience preparing and issuing Certificates of Insurance
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning or comparable CRM platforms is a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
