Overview
Our client is a growing commercial HVAC company securing mechanical packages worth up to $1 million. You will own the estimating process for high-value projects, directly impacting the company's ability to win new contracts and grow its market presence.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week, flexible during business hours, Australian Eastern Time.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC mechanical packages up to $1M value
- Use Dindo estimating software to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
- Reach out to suppliers to obtain current pricing and material information
- Review project specifications and technical drawings to develop comprehensive estimates
- Support the tendering process for commercial HVAC projects
- Collaborate with the team to ensure estimates align with project requirements and company standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimating activities
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical estimating
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and mechanical packages
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
- Excellent communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Dindo estimating software preferred, or willingness to learn quickly
- Experience with CAD software or technical drafting is a plus
