We are currently seeking a
Legal Collections Assistant to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the firm's billing and collections functions while also providing essential administrative support to our attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communication: Contact clients by phone, email, or mail regarding outstanding balances and discuss available payment options.
- Administrative Support: Assist attorneys with scheduling, document preparation, file management, correspondence, and the maintenance of organized records.
- Account Management: Maintain accurate client account records, monitor overdue balances, and ensure timely follow-up and account updates
Requirements
- We require candidates to have at least three years of experience as a Collections Representative. This is a non-negotiable requirement
- We are looking for candidates with exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective collaboration with our diverse team and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
- Candidates must have their own laptop or PC, a high-quality headset, high-speed internet, and a backup connection
- Must be amenable to working night shifts and overtime
