Cold Caller and Appointment Setter

We are looking for a motivated and confident Cold Caller and Appointment Setter to join our insurance agency. This role focuses on reaching out to prospective clients via phone, email, and text, qualifying their interest, and connecting them with our licensed producers through warm transfers or scheduled appointments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in an outbound calling environment and is eager to grow within a results-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients using fresh web leads and aged lead lists
• Qualify leads by assessing their interest and insurance needs before transferring to licensed producers
• Perform warm transfers of qualified prospects to available producers in real time
• Schedule appointments for leads who are interested in receiving quotes
• Follow up with prospects via email and text to nurture leads and drive engagement
• Update and maintain lead records, dispositions, and notes in the CRM system
• Track lead source performance to help the team identify the most productive channels
• Collaborate with the team to refine calling scripts, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria
• Provide feedback and suggestions on what is working and where processes can be improved

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound lead generation
• Strong verbal communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence
• Experience using a CRM system to log calls, update records, and manage pipelines
• Familiarity with VoIP dialing platforms such as RingCentral or similar tools
• Ability to handle rejection, stay motivated, and maintain high call volumes
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills to manage lead lists and follow-up schedules effectively

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the insurance industry, including property and casualty, life, or commercial lines
• Familiarity with AgencyZoom or similar insurance-specific CRM platforms
• Background in appointment setting or warm transfer workflows within a sales environment
• Experience working with both fresh and aged lead lists
• Ability to collaborate with a team and provide constructive feedback on calling processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with bonus incentives
