Work Location : Muntinlupa Alabang
Work Set Up : Hybrid - usually 2-3 days per week onsite
Work Schedule : Rotation; must be amenable to work in a shifting schedule.
Contract Duration : 6-months contract – can be extended
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud-based hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform
- Strong working experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially with Terraform and GCP Deployment Manager
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle utilizing the DevOps framework around CI/CD
- Very good understanding and experience in networking and security concepts such as routing, firewall, VPN, TCP/IP, VPC, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, anti-virus, and security risk remediation
Mandatory Skills
- Proven hands-on working experience with GCP core services
- Experience supporting production cloud workloads using GCP native tools and 3rd party integrations
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially when supporting a diverse and global user base
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build)
- Good knowledge of code and binary repositories (e.g. GitHub or Bitbucket)
- Strong knowledge of Terraform or equivalent provisioning and automation tooling for building, changing, and versioning infrastructure
- Some knowledge of automation and configuration management toolsets (e.g. Ansible)
- Hands-on scripting experience in Bash, Python, Go, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Strong command of the English language (both verbal and written)
