Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, Dell, Pure, Nutanix, ) ensuring high availability and compliance
  • Design and manage NAS and SAN storage solutions, including upgrades and data migrations
  • Implement and manage data protection strategies using SnapMirror, Snapshots, and replication technologies
  • Administer backup tools (Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, BackupExec, Veeam Backup,Azure/AWS Backup) for scheduled backups and restores
  • Perform restore operations for files, servers, virtual machines, and SQL databases
  • Monitor storage and backup infrastructure performance identify and resolve potential bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage and backup services
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
  • Participate in 24x7 operations support and on-call rotation
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with backup tools (Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, BackupExec, Veeam Backup Azure/AWS backup,)) and restore operations
  • Solid knowledge of storage platforms (NetApp, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, Dell, Pure, Nutanix,) and storage design (NAS, SAN)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
  • Proven excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration abilities
