Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation

- Architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud

environments on Azure and Ali+.

- Build and maintain cloud landing zones aligned with best practices and compliance

requirements.

- Integrate on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge environments for unified management

and governance.

Migration & Modernisation

- Lead or support the migration of legacy applications and data to Azure and Ali+

platforms.

- Use automated tools, security baselines, and dependency mapping to streamline

migration and reduce risks.

- Transform legacy systems to leverage cloud-native services, improving efficiency,

security, and availability.

Cloud Operations & Optimisation

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud resources for performance, scalability, and

cost-effectiveness.

- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security controls.

- Apply cloud financial management (FinOps) principles to optimise spend and resource

allocation.

DevOps & Automation

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like ARM, Terraform, or Ali+

equivalents.

- Integrate DevOps and DevSecOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and

security.

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks to improve reliability and

speed.

Collaboration & Support

- Work closely with application, data, and security teams to deliver end-to-end

solutions.

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.

- Participate in technical design sessions, requirements gathering, and project rollouts.

Skills & Experience:

- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or Ali+ cloud platforms.

- Proficiency in cloud networking, security, and identity management.

- Experience with cloud migration, modernisation, and hybrid cloud architectures.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as

code).

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).

- Understanding of ITIL, cloud governance, and compliance frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AliCloud

certifications) are advantageous.
