Job Description

Position: Cloud Engineer I

Work Set-up: Remote Work

Work Shift: Midshift (4PM-1AM); Mon-Friday

Are you passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and building high-performing systems We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to help maintain, secure, and scale our SaaS infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

As part of our engineering team, you will:

  • Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure to meet or exceed availability, security, and performance SLAs
  • Provide on-call, after-hours infrastructure support on a rotating basis
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud architecture and security best practices
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching of cloud resources
  • Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Terraform and PowerShell
  • Strengthen security, monitoring, and observability of cloud workloads
  • Participate in incident reviews and production retrospectives
  • Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and remediation efforts
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records
  • Contribute to cost-optimization and resource efficiency initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience working with public cloud platforms:
  • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Background in software development, DevSecOps, or site reliability engineering
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, especially HashiCorp Terraform
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL
  • Familiarity with Windows systems administration
