Position: Cloud Engineer I
Work Set-up: Remote Work
Work Shift: Midshift (4PM-1AM); Mon-Friday

Key Responsibilities
As part of our engineering team, you will:
- Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure to meet or exceed availability, security, and performance SLAs
- Provide on-call, after-hours infrastructure support on a rotating basis
- Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud architecture and security best practices
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching of cloud resources
- Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Terraform and PowerShell
- Strengthen security, monitoring, and observability of cloud workloads
- Participate in incident reviews and production retrospectives
- Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
- Assist with vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and remediation efforts
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records
- Contribute to cost-optimization and resource efficiency initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with public cloud platforms:
- Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
- Background in software development, DevSecOps, or site reliability engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, especially HashiCorp Terraform
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL
- Familiarity with Windows systems administration
