Clinical Content Specialist
Shift- Night (Starts between 7 pm to 10 pm)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Content Specialist to develop, review, and maintain evidence-based clinical content that supports healthcare products, clinical decision support solutions, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, experience evaluating medical literature, and the ability to translate complex healthcare information into accurate, user-friendly clinical content.
This role partners closely with Product Development, Product Management, Clinical Operations, Technology, and Business teams to ensure the delivery of clinically sound, evidence-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Content Development
- Utilize Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) principles to design, develop, review, and maintain clinical content.
- Conduct comprehensive medical literature reviews and critically appraise scientific evidence.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, accurate, and actionable clinical content.
- Incorporate feedback from peer reviewers, physicians, and clients to ensure clinical accuracy and usability.
- Create and maintain supporting clinical documentation.
Quality Assurance
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of clinical content.
- Ensure content aligns with current clinical guidelines, standards of care, and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all clinical materials.
Clinical Consultation
- Serve as a clinical subject matter expert and resource for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clinical guidance and support for product and operational initiatives.
- Assist teams in interpreting and applying clinical evidence appropriately.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Development (PD), Product Management (PM), Product Owners (PO), Business Systems Analysts (BSA), Operations, and Technology teams.
- Support the design and implementation of clinically related solutions and workflows.
- Act as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical teams.
Project & Research Support
- Participate in project planning, task tracking, and timely delivery of clinical development initiatives.
- Contribute to field research activities supporting product innovation and advancement.
- Support process improvements and healthcare technology initiatives through clinical analysis and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Licensed Physician (MD/DO).
- Board Certified or Diplomate in Internal Medicine or a recognized Internal Medicine subspecialty.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Advanced Degree preferred.
Clinical Experience
- Minimum 5 years of independent clinical practice experience.
- Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience.
- Direct patient care experience beyond residency or fellowship training.
- Broad clinical exposure across multiple care settings.
Preferred Experience
- Clinical content development.
- Medical writing and publication experience.
- Literature review and clinical research.
- Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) methodologies.
- Healthcare technology or digital health products.
- Clinical workflow analysis.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding systems.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
