Job Description

The basic duty and responsibility of the position is to contribute to the delivery of Quality Patient Care and Safety consistent with SLMC Vision, Mission and Values and the organization's strategic objectives.

To provide technical and administrative support to the Associate Director and Vice President & Chief Quality Officer (CQO) in the management of SLMC's Quality and Patient Safety Program, specifically in managing and conducting clinical audits, documenting & communicating findings and recommendations, and overseeing the corrective actions. (i.e. NCG, MPG, ANS) to ensure a pristine healthcare environment for the people we serve.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Completes clinical audit tools/materials approved by the Head within the timeframe and ensures data collection plan is completed prior to the schedule audits.
  • Conducts audits using approved electronic audit tools;
  • Provides feedback and teaching session to manager on duty and/or associate/s
  • regarding observations and findings;
  • Maintains close and effective coordination with the concerned groups to support the effective data collection.
  • Performs data cleaning and collates necessary documentation (e.g photos with observed deviations) in the initial report.
  • Ensure that clinical audit databases are kept up-to-date by coordinating concerned groups to monitor the development of the implementation of recommendations from the audits.
  • Schedules meeting with the Clinical Audit Leads and concerned managers to discuss the audit process and presentation of the results.
  • Assists with any other activities as required by the functional group's Head to enhance the development of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • With minimum of three (3) years of work experience quality set up in a supervisory or officer level preferably in a healthcare industry.
  • Preferably with Certifications related to field of expertise (e.g Lean Six Sigma, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
  • Can start immediately.
