About The Role
As a Client Success Manager, you will be the strategic partner and day-to-day contact for ecommerce brands looking to expand into international marketplaces. You will guide clients through market evaluation, launch readiness, operational setup, and performance scaling across global platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who understands ecommerce operations, enjoys owning client relationships, and thrives in a consulting environment focused on data-driven decision-making and cross-border growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned ecommerce clients expanding into new international markets
- Build trust-based, strategic partnerships by understanding each brand's commercial goals, product lines, and operational maturity
- Facilitate regular client update calls, performance reviews, and alignment discussions.
Marketplace Expansion Support
- Guide clients through the lifecycle of entering new marketplaces, from initial market evaluation to listing optimization to scaling
- Ensure clients understand key differences between markets (logistics, compliance, pricing, advertising, competition)
- Help clients interpret insights on product-market fit, category trends, consumer behavior, and operational requirements
Performance Monitoring & Strategic Guidance
- Review marketplace performance data (traffic, conversion, profitability, operational KPIs) and provide clear action items
- Identify risks or early signs of underperformance and recommend corrective strategies
- Advise clients on ongoing optimization (catalog, pricing, inventory, advertising, content)
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with consulting leadership to build standardized playbooks for marketplace launches and international scaling
- Help refine processes, documentation, and knowledge-sharing across teams
- Contribute insights from client engagements to strengthen future offerings
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3 or more years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, Consulting, Ecommerce Operations, or Marketplace Management
- Experience supporting or working within ecommerce businesses, ideally with exposure to marketplace operations or cross-border expansion
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple clients
- Confidence in client-facing
- Strong English comprehension and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability to produce client-ready presentations, insights summaries, or market reports
- Proficiency in SmartScout, Helium10, Seller Central or other similar ecommerce tools
Nice-to-Have
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance workflows, improve deliverables, and create more efficient processes
