Our
East West Insurance Brokerage team is looking for
experienced professionals to join us in
Taguig as a
Claims Assistant.
In this role you will process insurance claims filed by bank clients delivering efficient service from initial inquiry through to settlement for motor and non-motor claims. By ensuring timely, accurate handling of claims, you will drive client satisfaction, retention, and potential referrals from existing customers.

What The Role Will Entail
- Respond to client calls and emails, receive and review claim documents, and register new claims accurately in the claims system.
- Evaluate submitted documents and immediately disclose and elevate to immediate supervisor any issues or concerns that may affect assessment of claim, may result to potential complaint, or discrepancies with the documents submitted.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, insurers, independent adjusters, and repair shops to ensure timely premium remittance, investigation progress, and smooth claims processing.
- Monitor claim status, maintain updated records and claims diary entries, and provide clients with regular updates including approvals, additional requirements, and settlement documents.
- Facilitate issuance and transmittal of approval letters, settlement checks, and required documentation, ensuring proper closure of settled, denied, or withdrawn claims.
- Generate and review claims reports to track ongoing and completed cases, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree holder
- At least 1-2 years of related claims experience in the insurance industry
- Proficient in MS Office with good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, hardworking, and customer-oriented, with strong initiative
- Team player who is organized and detail-oriented
