Your impact

  • Supervise and monitor all civil/structural construction activities related to transportation infrastructure (e.g., roads, bridges, tunnels, stations), ensuring compliance with contract specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Scope of Works for civil and structural components, including earthworks, foundations, retaining structures, and pavement systems, ensuring alignment with approved engineering plans.
  • Track construction progress and identify potential delays or issues affecting schedule, safety, or quality. Recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines and minimize disruptions to public transport or traffic flow.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders, including local authorities and utility providers, to ensure smooth execution of civil works and resolution of site-related challenges.
  • Conduct quality inspections of materials and workmanship, verifying compliance with transportation sector standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM, DPWH standards) and issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports, providing insights on civil works status, safety compliance, quality metrics, and site observations to inform project management and client updates.

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Civil Inspector within the Power Plant sector
  • Registered Civil Engineer with valid Professional Regulation Commission License (PRC)
  • Experience in Civil Inspections for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and Structural/Civil Codes
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment
