- Undertake detailed stormwater drainage design for land development, roadworks, infrastructure, and flood mitigation projects.
- Prepare stormwater management plans (SMPs), drainage strategies, and concept through to detailed design documentation.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modelling using software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, and HEC-RAS (optional depending on firm's scope).
- Design stormwater infrastructure including pits, pipes, culverts, basins, GPTs, and water sensitive urban design (WSUD) features.
- Liaise with councils, utility authorities, and internal project teams to obtain design approvals.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, technical documentation, and project specifications.
- Support civil engineering teams on broader subdivision, roadworks, and infrastructure projects where required.

- Minimum 3-5 years experience in civil/stormwater design roles.
- Proficient in using 12d and/or Autodesk Civil 3D for drainage and civil works design.
- Proven experience in hydraulic modelling using DRAINS, MUSIC, and familiarity with local council and authority standards (e.g. ARR guidelines, local DCPs and WSUD policies).
- Strong technical understanding of Australian stormwater design standards and legislation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
