Chief Resident Engineer - Hydropower

Join an exciting hydropower construction project as the CRE to play a pivotal role in the leadership, delivery, of a major programme of work. This position is ideal for a person who has delivered large project successfully in their career.

This is a site-based position, the Chief Resident Engineer will work closely with the Project Director to drive operational excellence across all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• FullTime Site Supervision Maintain continuous onsite presence to witness and validate all critical construction activities
• Support the Project Director in managing the construction project, management of the EPC contractor and resolving issues in the first instance
• Quality Assurance / Quality Control Oversight Monitor and validate all onsite QA/QC procedures.

About You:

• A minimum of 15 years of total experience including delivery / completion in large projects
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, ideally a Masters
• Experienced onsite supervision for hydropower projects.

Salary:

An employee contract which will include accomodation, travel allowance, relocation assistance. The salary will vary depending on years experience and can be paid in USD as a NET amount, it can be negotiated. This is a long term contract and you will be expected for around 5 years or more.
