The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a senior executive responsible for developing and executing the organization's human capital strategy in alignment with overall business goals. The CHRO leads all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, compliance, and culture transformation.
Contract Position but open to covert to permanent after one year consultancy.
Duration : 1 year
The CHRO typically reports directly to the CEO and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Lead culture transformation and change management initiatives.
2. Talent Management
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Build leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Implement performance management systems.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives to enhance productivity and retention.
3. Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure pay equity and market competitiveness.
- Oversee executive compensation planning in coordination with the board.
4. Organizational Development
- Drive leadership training and capability-building initiatives.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
- Implement workforce analytics and HR technology solutions.
5. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
- Oversee policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
6. HR Operations & Technology
- Oversee HR systems, data management, and reporting.
- Improve HR processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within HR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 57 years in executive-level HR roles.
- Proven experience leading HR strategy in large or complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
