Role DescriptionThe Chief Engineer position is responsible for the general administration of the Engineering Department, including proper maintenance and repair of all buildings, fixtures, fittings and equipment as well as technical improvements, preventive maintenance and utilities consumption control; this position is also responsible for providing customers with a secure, comfortable environment by maintaining the Hotel's assets through on-going preventive maintenance programs and ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with the standards of the hotel. 

Qualifications

• Preferably with experience in hotel setting, very attentive to details, at least 3 years experience as associate in engineering or as chief engineer, rose from the ranks is an added advantage.
• Exposure to facility & maintenance management, knowledge in civil electrical, mechanical a/c & plumbing installation and troubleshooting is a must.
• Exposed to quality and safety standards and audits. Good external contacts.
