Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef de Partie role located in Mandaluyong. The Chef de Partie will oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver high-quality meals. The role also involves mentoring junior staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in managing a specific kitchen section (e.g., Pastry/ Baker, Cold, Mise en Place, Asian, Japanese, Chinese, Western, Grill/Carving).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance.
  • Ability to supervise and train Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Formal training or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
  • Experience in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
