Job Description

Responsible in the extract of meaningful insights and recommendations from complex datasets to drive data-driven decision making within the organization. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their data requirements and provide valuable insights to support strategic initiatives and optimize business processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.

• Extract actionable insights and key findings from data analysis to inform business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and address business challenges.

• Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast future trends, identify potential risks, and optimize business performance.

• Communicate data insights effectively through clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, provide guidance on data collection and analysis methodologies, and ensure data quality and integrity.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements in data analysis techniques, and emerging tools to enhance data insight generation capabilities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures, including data privacy regulations, data security protocols, and ethical data usage practices.

• Disseminate best practices and coach key stakeholders as needed

• Guides the functional teams in using the Workday dashboard or creating the offline data extracts (summarized data) to prepare in exploring the data

• Provide guidance on visualization and presentation of insights

• Ensures knowledge transfer of how data insighting and models were created

• Assess the current analytics infrastructure, identifying gaps and opportunities to implement scalable tooling, dashboards, and data frameworks.

• Translate business requirements to technical development of data infrastructure and pipelines to support the needs of stakeholders.

KPIs:

• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, provide guidance on data collection and analysis methodologies, and ensure data quality and integrity.

• Guides the functional teams in using the Workday dashboard or creating the offline data extracts (summarized data) to prepare in exploring the data

TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES:

• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.

• Reports automation and operationalization to ensure minimal manual work needed

• Extract actionable insights and key findings from data analysis to inform business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and address business challenges.

• Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast future trends, identify potential risks, and optimize business performance. Communicate data insights effectively through clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry or domain relevant to the organization (telecom).

• Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for handling and analyzing large-scale datasets.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services for data storage, processing, and analysis

• Proficiency in SQL, R or Python programming languages specific for data transformation and exploratory data analysis
