Category Merchandising Manager

As a Category Merchandising Manager, you will develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve sales, assortment, and margin goals. You'll negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors, ensuring competitive products and cost efficiency. Regular store visits to assess product displays, assortment quality, and inventory levels will be key to maintaining a fresh and appealing product offering. Additionally, you'll identify trends and explore new suppliers to keep the assortment innovative and aligned with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement merchandising strategies to meet sales, assortment, and margin goals.
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
• Monitor product assortment, displays, and inventory in stores.
• Stay ahead of trends and identify new suppliers and products.
• Collaborate with department managers and sales teams to improve performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree holder
• Proficiency in Mandarin / Hokkien is an advantage
• 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel for store and warehouse visits
• Must be willing to work in MOA Complex, Pasay City
