Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at Mi Department Store. In this role, you will assist customers with their orders, process payments, and ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience for all guests. While previous experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and be service oriented.
- Accurately process payments through POS system (prior experience with POS is a plus).
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide helpful information about menu items and specials.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of cashier or customer service experience (restaurant experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of POS systems (training available for candidates without prior experience).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
