About the Role

Righteous Felon is hiring a fast, creative, obsessively organized Video Editor to own the daily cutting and repurposing of content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Shopify, Klaviyo, paid social, and anywhere else our brand shows up. This person lives in CapCut, turning raw footage, UGC, and trend-based material into a high volume of scroll-stopping edits that drive CTR, conversions, and virality. Speed and output matter—without sacrificing taste or brand voice.

The right candidate is a CapCut power user who can rapidly cut, caption, sound-design, and export in every spec, while maintaining a shared asset library anyone can navigate unassisted. They keep a constant pulse on trending audio, hook formats, and edit styles, and translate those insights into our content before trends peak. They know the first 1–3 seconds drive CTR and retention drives distribution. They use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Descript) to move faster, figure things out independently, and let the scoreboard—views, CTR, watch time—tell them how they're doing.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-performance ad creative for TikTok, Meta, Google, Amazon, email, SMS, and other digital channels.

• Cut and optimize TikTok videos, UGC, product demos, founder videos, testimonials, and lifestyle content into platform-specific ad assets.

• Use CapCut and Canva at a high level to rapidly create static ads, motion content, hooks, thumbnails, end cards, and creative variations.

• Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, VEO3, and similar tools to generate concepts, scripts, prompts, visual ideas, and AI-assisted videos built from real photography and video.

• Organize, name, upload, archive, and maintain large volumes of creative assets with exceptional discipline inside SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office-based workflows.

• Keep ad creative production moving by solving problems independently, finding answers quickly, and using AI to unblock issues and improve output quality.

• Maintain clean file structures, version control, naming conventions, and a searchable creative library so content can be found and reused quickly.

• Collaborate during EST business hours with internal stakeholders to deliver ad content quickly and accurately in launch-ready formats.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience creating strong-performing ad creative, including TikTok, UGC, paid social video, static ads, and other conversion-focused assets.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience using CapCut and Canva efficiently to produce high volumes of polished creative work.

• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office is required. Google Workspace does not count as a substitute.

• 2+ years of virtual assistant (VA) experience is required.

• Must be fluent in AI tools, especially ChatGPT and Claude, with practical ability to use AI to solve problems, learn quickly, create faster, and avoid getting stuck.

• Experience using Gemini, VEO3, and other AI tools for AI video generation from real photography and video is strongly preferred.

• Must be willing to work EST hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

• Must have reliable high-speed internet of at least 250 Mbps.

• Must have a modern computer with 32 GB+ RAM and a 1000 GB+ hard drive.
