Description
The Role
- Gain a thorough understanding of the plan design
- Perform routine, complex and recurring plan administration tasks for clients defined pension benefit plans and information
- Work cooperatively with other team members to complete tasks and to ensure unified delivery of services
- Learn and use Excellence tools and concepts to ensure efficient and quality output
- Adhere to plan documents and government regulations in administering plans
- Perform established quality control standards and meet established performance targets
- Complete assigned cases using established procedures and in a timely manner
- Meet productivity/utilization goals as well as meet established efficiency standards
- Actively participate in team meetings and training activities
- Follow and update documentation materials as directed
Qualifications
The Requirements
- A graduate of Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting or other related courses
- Ability to gain a strong understanding of the administrative process as it relates to pension benefit plans and pension participants information
- Knowledge on benefits administration, plan administration or insurance processing is a plus
- Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Powerpoint and Word is a plus
- Intermediate working knowledge in MS Excel
- Professional and responsible approach to work, clients and colleagues
- Ability to organize and prioritize with strong attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to complete multiple projects within established deadlines
- Work experience with US counterparts preferred
- College degree holder
- Work Mondays thru Fridays
