The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs across our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and a proven track record of implementing successful process improvements.
Candidates must have 0-1 years of industrial engineering experience with demonstrated understanding of process improvement implementation.
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing production and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies.
- Design and optimize layouts for production facilities, warehouses, and other operational areas.
- Conduct time and motion studies to determine standard times and improve efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and improve processes.
Project Management
- Lead and manage process improvement projects.
- Develop project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
Quality Control
- Develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Ergonomics and Safety
- Evaluate workplace ergonomics and recommend improvements to enhance worker safety and comfort.
- Implement safety protocols and improvements.
Cost Reduction
- Identify and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Analyze material usage and waste to minimize costs.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems to optimize inventory levels.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed process improvements.
