Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an AutoCAD Operator - Process Design.

- Location: URC Giga Tower, Bridgetowne, Quezon City
- Project Duration: March 2026 to March 2027 (Contract is co-terminus with the NSL Malvar Bakery construction project, with possible extension based on project needs and performance)
We are seeking a for an experienced AutoCAD Operator for a construction project. This project-based role will handle mechanical and process construction drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
The AutoCAD Operator will support the site and engineering teams by preparing and updating drawings in accordance with approved construction plans, actual site conditions, and project specifications, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Installation Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare, update, and revise equipment installation drawings using AutoCAD.
- Equipment Plant and Elevation Layouts
- 3D Layout and clash analysis
- People and Material Traffic Flow Analysis
Develop And Update
- Shop drawings submitted for approval
- As-built drawings reflecting actual site installations
Incorporate Revisions Based On
- Site instructions
- Engineer's directives
- Consultant and client comments
- Construction & Site Coordination
Coordinate Closely With
- Process Design Engineers
- Project Engineers
- Site supervisors and foremen
Assist In Resolving Drawing Discrepancies Between
- Architectural
- Structural
- Mechanical
- Electrical disciplines
- Conduct site visits, when required, to verify installation conditions and updates
Piping and Instrumentation Diagram
- Preparation of piping and instrumentation diagrams and layouts for process and mechanical systems
- Integration of drawings from Manufacturers/Suppliers
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure drawings comply with:
- Approved construction drawings
- Project specifications
- Follow company and project drafting standards, naming conventions, and document control procedures
Administrative & Project Support
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
- Assist in basic quantity referencing and material take-offs from drawings
- Perform other drafting and engineering support tasks as assigned by the project team
Qualifications Required
- 3 years of experience in Drafting for Plant Design Applications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Proficiency in:
- Equipment Drafting and Design
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Preparations
- Construction drawings, symbols, and schedules
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Preferred
- Experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing Plant
Familiarity With
- Piping and Instrumentation Symbols
- Shop drawing and as-built documentation
- Site coordination processes
- Revit or other CAD tools (advantage)
