About the client (NZ)

We are Health Costing Experts working in the health sectors of New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East. We have four core products developed in-house by us over the last 25 years. IntelPlus - a business intelligence repository that is patient-centric. We support over 80 different data feeds into the system to enable a complete picture of patient activity across a health provider.

CostPro - a time and materials based, Activity Based Costing System designed for accurately costing of patient activity. Using direct time patients spend in high cost areas means that we are able to make direct comparisons between patients with similar diagnosis to improve patient outcomes and lower cost. FocusPro - an accountability framework for a health provider that allows for Ward to Board reporting of KPIs. FocusPro allows for complete transparency of data when reviewing a KPI so that all staff understand what is driving a particular measure. ChargePro - accurate and complete patient billing for large health care providers. Rules based and modern APIs to automate the billing process.

Job Description

Your job is to deliver outstanding technology-based solutions to client problems using best practices and defined processes. In addition, you will be involved in growing your knowledge and skills to expand your ability to deliver projects on-time and within budget.

Reports To: General Manager Research and Development

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Software Development

  • Understand client problems and assist in designing, estimating, developing, testing, and documenting a suitable technology-based solution within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure that work assigned to you is prioritised and managed so that projects are delivered on-time.
  • Ensure you follow appropriate processes to efficiently perform your tasks and that quality solutions are produced within budget.

Customer Service

  • Deliver high levels of customer service so clients have positive experiences with our company and our products.
  • Assist other staff members as required who are providing customer service.

Personal Development

  • Ensure that your skills continue to grow. If you need training in a particular technique or technology, then bring this up with your Team Leader.
  • Share the knowledge and skills you have developed with other members within the company.

Communication

  • Ensure open and pro-active communication within the company by contributing to meetings, workshops, etc.
  • Ensure your Team Leader understands your progress against assigned tasks and is notified of any potential problems that may delay progress.

Other Requirements

  • To be a positive, willing, contributing, and adaptable member of the team always.
  • Be familiar with and understand the policies and procedures of the CBS Quality Management System.
  • Complete weekly timesheets as required.
  • Complete other work as requested by your manager.

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification with a significant Information Technology component.
  • Minimum of 3 years software development experience in C#.NET, SQL, Javascript, and Angular)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the tools, processes and techniques used in the development of software solutions.
  • Desire to develop a broader and deeper understanding of the client's domain.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
