Contributes to the growth and profitability of the company through the effective sourcing and purchasing of indirect materials in accordance with prescribed purchasing policies and procedures. Ensures the availability of reliable suppliers that can be developed into productive business partners and ensures continuity of supply of goods and services.
Must hold a position of trust and confidence because of access to controlled areas, drawings, and documents where paints and chemicals are being manufactured.
College degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Diploma in Supply Chain, or any related field of study from an accredited institution.
With at least 2 years of relevant work experience in active buying.
Good understanding of the procurement process and supply base management is an advantage.
