About The Role
Sunpride Foods, Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Pakna-an Mandaue City Cebu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing, procurement, and inventory management processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials required for our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and procure the necessary raw materials, equipment, and services required for production
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring timely communication and resolution of any issues
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and implement strategies to minimize disruptions to production
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Analyze procurement data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations to improve the overall procurement process
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of procurement-related expenses
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of any 4 year Course
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Has sourcing, canvassing and driving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
