About The Role
Be a part of our Global Supply Chain team as a Buyer!
You'll play a vital role in provide purchasing (Intercompany and Outsourced) support for our Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders. You'll be responsible for purchasing processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient transitions through the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.

What You'll Do
Purchasing Activities & Order Management
- Assign and process requisition purchase orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain PO due dates and negotiate delivery schedules with vendors for critical requirements.
Supplier Coordination
- Work with external suppliers and procurement teams to ensure continuous improvement in supplier processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate non-conformance issues to the contract manager.
Collaborate & Support
- Provide back up support to planning, procurement and logistics functions where required.
- Provide forecasts derived from S&OP to critical suppliers in line with agreements.
- Prioritize and sequence delivery schedules to meet customer requirements; escalate supply issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and operational objectives.
- Investigate deviations in OTC reports, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and implement supply chain improvements to eliminate non-value-adding activities.
Reporting, Data & System Management
- Conduct weekly reviews of open orders and maintain reporting tools to track inventory, OTC, and supplier performance.
- Manage new vendor onboarding in SAP MDG and Coupa.
- Create and update SAP master data (Purchase Info Record, Source List).
Champion Safety
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards and legislation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Background in Supply Chain or Customer Service, with 2-3 years hands on experience in Purchasing.
- Technical Skills: SAP knowledge (MRP tool, P2P process), Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior managers.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Purchasing, or Business preferred.
