Join our Procurement team and take ownership of your assigned category portfolio. In this role, you drive purchasing decisions, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and strengthen supplier partnerships to support QIAGEN's business continuity and costefficiency. You work in a dynamic environment where you influence outcomes, contribute to category strategies, and help optimize procurement processes across the organization.

Your Tasks Include

  • Prepare purchasing plans for direct materials and services and ensure timely execution.
  • Follow and reinforce QIAGEN's procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Review, compare, evaluate, and approve products and services in line with procurement strategy.
  • Contribute to category strategies and support their implementation across your portfolio.
  • Take full ownership of your category, including routine decisionmaking and daily operational activities.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, lead times, and product ranges.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and contract elements to secure optimal terms.

Your Profile

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business management, operations management, finance, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Bring at least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or project management.
  • Apply your SAP knowledge effectively (preferred but not required).
  • Communicate clearly through strong written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Collaborate confidently with virtual and crossfunctional teams across different levels of the organization.
  • Influence stakeholders and support decisionmaking to achieve category and procurement objectives.
  • Build productive partnerships and demonstrate proactive problemsolving skills.
