The Business Unit Operations Manager (BUOM) – Luxuri Pets is responsible for the overall
strategy, growth, operations, and profitability of the Luxuri Pets business as an independent
business unit.
This role acts as the business leader of Luxuri Pets, driving both strategic direction and dayto-
day execution. The BUOM ensures sustainable growth, strong financial performance, and
consistent delivery of high-quality services.
The BUOM works in close partnership with the Assistant General Manager, combining
strategic leadership with operational excellence to scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Growth
• Define and execute the growth strategy for Luxuri Pets
• Identify and launch new revenue streams (services, products, partnerships)
• Explore expansion opportunities (locations, channels, offerings)
• Position Luxuri Pets as a premium, trusted pet care brand
2. Full P&L Ownership
• Own revenue, costs, and overall profitability of the business
• Drive financial performance through data-driven decisions
• Ensure sustainable margins and efficient resource allocation
3. Operations Leadership
• Oversee end-to-end operations of Luxuri Pets
• Ensure smooth, efficient, and standardized service delivery
• Establish and enforce operating systems, SOPs, and quality controls
4. Business Development
• Lead partnerships with vets, suppliers, and strategic partners
• Identify new business opportunities and market gaps
• Build relationships that strengthen brand and revenue growth
5. Team Leadership & Structure
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team
• Work closely with the Assistant General Manager on daily execution
• Drive accountability, discipline, and performance culture
6. Customer Experience & Brand Standards
• Ensure premium, consistent customer experience
• Handle key client relationships and escalations
• Maintain strong alignment with brand positioning
Qualifications & Experience
• At least 10 years in business management, operations, or entrepreneurship
• Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
• Proven experience in scaling or managing a business unit
• Experience in veterinary medicine, pet care, or related industries strongly preferred
