Objective
TheTravel Coordinatoris responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of business travel for employees. This role ensures efficient travel processes, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to the company's travel policies and budget guidelines. The Travel Coordinator plays a key role in providing a smooth travel experience for employees while maintaining compliance and transparency in all travel-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, book, and coordinate business travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and train reservations.
- Ensure all travel activities comply with company travel policies and budgetary requirements.
- Assist employees with visa applications, vaccination requirements, and entry documentation.
- Maintain and update employee travel profiles and preferences in the travel management system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and other service providers to ensure quality and cost-efficient services.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on travel expenses, patterns, and activities.
- Support the continuous improvement and digitalization of travel management processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- Completed commercial education or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of3 years of experiencein travel management or a related administrative role.
- Experience with travel booking systems (e.g.,Concur) is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional service orientation and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, particularlyExcel and Outlook.
- Very good command ofEnglish(both written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
