Job Description: Senior Analyst, Compliance - JBS
The JLL Real Estate Capital, LLC Compliance team serves as the second line of defense against operational, financial and reputational risk. The Analyst will work directly with JREC Compliance leadership to support quality control and risk mitigation functions across the various JREC business lines.
The Analyst's primary focus will be to conduct ongoing control testing and quality control reviews of the JREC underwriting processes, while also supporting closing, asset management, and servicing quality control efforts as needed.
The Senior Analyst must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, critical thinking and analytical orientation. They must possess the initiative to work in an independent and reliable manner while consistently meeting deadlines.
Essential Functions:
- Execute systematic testing procedures across underwriting processes
- Review actual work product and deliverables against documented procedures to identify control gaps and execution errors
- Other tasks as deemed necessary and as time allows, to include but not limited to: JREC organizational chart updates and system access provisioning
Qualifications Required:
- Undergraduate degree preferred with a minimum of 2-3 years in Commercial Real Estate or equivalent work experience
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to operate under demanding deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to audit own work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity and knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents is preferred but not required
