The Business Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and full P&L performance of assigned company-owned franchise stores. The role ensures operational efficiency, cost control, compliance with company standards, and consistent customer experience while driving sales growth and store profitability.
Job Descriptions:
- Supervise daily operations of company-owned franchise stores to ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular store visits, inspections, and operational audits.
- Ensure consistent execution of operating procedures across all locations.
- Address operational issues, customer complaints, and service gaps promptly.
- Own and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) performance of assigned stores.
- Monitor sales, COGS, labor costs, and operating expenses against approved budgets.
- Identify cost variances, waste, shrinkage, and inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity to control labor cost.
- Drive sales improvement initiatives in coordination with Marketing and Store Managers.
- Review financial performance regularly with Store Managers and develop action plans to improve profitability.
- Supervise Store Managers and key operational staff.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and operational guidance.
- Coordinate with HR on staffing requirements, training needs, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote accountability, productivity, and operational discipline across stores.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, cash handling procedures, inventory management standards, and safety regulations.
- Enforce loss prevention and risk control measures.
- Prepare and submit operational, compliance, and performance reports to management.
- Escalate critical risks, incidents, and recurring issues with recommended solutions.
- Implement operational improvements, new systems, and management initiatives.
- Support new store openings, process rollouts, and operational projects.
- Coordinate with support departments (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Marketing) to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 25 years experience in multi-store operations, franchise supervision, or retail/food service management.
- Proven experience managing store operations with P&L exposure.
- Strong understanding of SOP implementation, cost control, and operational KPIs.
