Brief Description
Responsible for strategizing, designing, and optimizing regulatory reporting frameworks. This role manages reports, data quality controls, and overall compliance adherence, while working closely with senior business leaders and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement best practices for regulatory reporting.
- Lead report automation, data transformation, and data governance initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Own data quality control frameworks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, tax, and legal teams to ensure alignment with external financial, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Manage and enhance reporting data models and BI solutions, working closely with data engineering teams.
- Lead impact analysis and proactively adjust reporting frameworks in response to regulatory and/or financial changes.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to product managers, developers, and other stakeholders through clear reports and presentations.
- Assist in data governance functions, including data quality assurance and cataloging, to enhance data management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, or compliance reporting.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Strong experience in automated reporting solutions, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Expertise in data quality assurance, metadata management, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to work with executives and cross-functional teams.
