Job Summary

The Business Development Supervisor supports company growth by leading the BD team, generating new business opportunities, and managing key partnerships. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the role helps execute strategies, drive leads, and ensure smooth coordination across departments.

ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING

  • Reports directly to the Marketing Manager

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships
  • Develop lead-generation strategies and ensure consistent pipeline growth
  • Conduct market research, customer profiling, and competitor benchmarking
  • Evaluate potential partnerships and prepare feasibility assessments
  • Client & Partner Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Oversee client onboarding processes and ensure service delivery expectations are met
  • Attend client meetings, negotiations, events, and industry gatherings as needed
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, proposal submissions, and contract renewals
  • Team Supervision & Leadership
  • Supervise Business Development Officers/Assistants and monitor their daily activities
  • Set weekly and monthly targets for the team and ensure achievement of KPIs
  • Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and skill development for the BD team
  • Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure alignment with BD strategic plans
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Support the Marketing Manager in planning and executing growth strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, and partnership programs
  • Lead the creation and refinement of business proposals, presentations, and partnership decks
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving positioning and product competitiveness
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of initiatives
  • Coordinate with Finance and Legal for pricing, contract reviews, and compliance requirements
  • Align BD initiatives with internal processes, timelines, and resource availability
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly BD performance reports
  • Track metrics such as lead conversions, partnership performance, revenue impact, and market growth
  • Analyze BD performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline updates, and documentation of client interactions
  • Administrative & Operational Duties
  • Oversee preparation of MOUs, contracts, proposals, and official documents
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage schedules for BD activities, meetings, and presentations
  • Monitor budget utilization for BD-related events, travel, and promotional activities
  • Special Projects & Initiatives
  • Lead or support special projects assigned by the Marketing Manager
  • Explore innovation opportunities that can strengthen the companys BD framework
  • Represent the company in conferences, roadshows, and industry events when delegated

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Proven experience in forex trading, with a strong track record of successful strategy development and implementation
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, economic indicators, and trading principles
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed trading decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate trading strategies and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and trading platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing market conditions
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing partnerships or corporate accounts
  • Background in strategic planning, market expansion, or brand collaborations
  • Experience working closely with Marketing, Sales, or Operations teams
  • Strong network or exposure to industry stakeholders relevant to the business
  • Skilled in creating proposals, pitch decks, and business presentations
