Job Description

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase HPL market penetration.
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including:
    • Contractors
    • Property developers
    • Architects and designers
    • Fabricators
  • Corporate and institutional clients
  • Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and convert opportunities into successful business partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to expand HPL adoption across commercial, residential, hospitality, and institutional projects.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Account Management & Sales Growth

  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop account strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue contribution.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable HPL solutions based on project needs.
  • Conduct product presentations, client discussions, and business negotiations.
  • Support project opportunities from initial inquiry, product specification, quotation, and closing stages.

Cross-Functional Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Logistics, Plant, and Importation to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate product availability, delivery timelines, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with sample requests, product approvals, and technical coordination.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, project sales, or account management.
  • Experience in construction materials, High Pressure Laminates (HPL), furniture boards, architectural products, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Background in handling project-based sales and working with contractors, developers, architects, or fabricators is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in generating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
